Every year, cyclists from all over the world come to Veneto to share an intense experience, filled with silence, smiles, landscapes, and unexpected encounters.
You'll pedal through hills, countryside, rivers, and cities steeped in history, letting yourself be guided by the rhythm of your wheels and your thoughts.

Beyond the writing

There are experiences that can't be captured in lines of text. Veneto Gravel is one of them. Descriptions aren't enough here: you need images, sounds, and glances. Because a video lets you feel the breath of fatigue, the dust of the dirt roads, the adrenaline of departure, and the joy of arrival. These visual stories capture the true essence of the event: freedom, adventure, and friendship. More than words, more than writing: an invitation to experience firsthand the magic that awaits you at Veneto Gravel 2026.
Veneto Gravel isn't a race, but a free-wheeling adventure. No time trials, just the pure experience of bikepacking, without pressure or competition.
Total freedom: the journey is a single stage, but you decide where and when to eat, sleep, or continue. No constraints, just adventure.
You'll follow the route using a GPS track we'll provide. You'll have to complete it entirely, without any shortcuts. Ecstasy guaranteed from the first to the last kilometer.
You can participate with any bike: MTB, road bike, fat bike, plus, e-bike, choose your favorite. But we're telling you, the ideal bike is a gravel bike.
“Unsupported Bike Adventure”: at Veneto Gravel you'll be alone with your bike, free to experience an authentic adventure without support, challenges, or imposed limits.
No race. No time to beat. Just your adventure. At Veneto Gravel, it's all about how you experience the journey, not how long it takes you. Ride at your own pace, with your breaks, under the sun or the stars. Follow the trail, respect the rules, and enjoy every moment of this unique journey.

Whether you want to test your skills on long distances or experience your first bikepacking adventure, there's a route designed for you. All trails are unsupported, with GPS tracking and can be ridden at your own pace, with complete freedom.

With its 720 km and 4,300 meters of elevation gain, the Classic is designed for those who want to experience bikepacking in complete freedom, without extreme stretches but with the taste of distance.
It's the most popular route, the one that has made thousands of participants fall in love.

The Short Beach is a concentration of the essence of Veneto Gravel: 400 km of riverbanks, dirt roads, rural landscapes, natural and coastal environments, up to the foot of the Dolomites.

With 2,800 meters of elevation gain, it is ideal for those seeking a true, intense adventure that can be managed in just a few days.

Short Lake is the smoothest and most relaxed side of Veneto Gravel.

With a modest elevation gain of 1,800 meters, it's ideal for those who want to experience a bikepacking adventure without too much effort, enjoying breathtaking views and varied landscapes.

The Newbie route is the perfect introduction to the world of Veneto Gravel.
With 200 km and 2,800 meters of elevation gain, it offers an intense yet accessible experience, ideal for those who want to approach bikepacking with a manageable route.
It traverses authentic landscapes between countryside, riverbanks, small villages, the suggestive Prosecco hills and the first glimpses of the Dolomites, keeping alive the desire for adventure without complications.

Veneto Gravel is an adventure to be enjoyed in complete freedom, but behind the scenes there is a careful organization that takes care of every aspect of the experience.
It all starts at the starting village, where you'll be welcomed by our staff, receive your event pack, and immediately soak up the unique atmosphere of the event, meeting other participants from all over Italy and abroad.
Every year, cyclists from over 20 countries gather to embark on an unforgettable journey along a GPS track that traverses the incredible variety of the Veneto region: rivers, hills, historic villages, plains, and mountain views.
At the start, we will record your time and give you the official brevet, to be stamped at the checkpoints along the route to enter the renowned FINISHER register.

But the real magic is discovered among the cobbled streets and squares of ancient villages like Arquà Petrarca, Feltre, Bassano del Grappa, and Montagnana.

From the heart of the Dolomites to the shores of Lake Garda, passing through the Prosecco hills, the Euganean Hills, and the Berici Hills: every ride is an immersion in surprising and ever-changing landscapes.
You'll follow the course of the great Veneto rivers, such as the Sile, the Brenta, and the Adige, discovering hidden glimpses of the valleys, Alpine valleys, silent countryside, and roads immersed in nature.
An experience that offers visual and sensory thrills at every turn, with breathtaking scents, sounds, and views that will remain etched in every cyclist's memory.
STOP, STAMP, REST, START AGAIN!
Along the route, Veneto Gravel checkpoints await you: places to take a break, stamp your passage, and share stories and smiles with other two-wheeled travelers.
A moment to recharge your batteries… and then back in the saddle towards the next adventure.
All participants are MANDATORY to submit to the organizers a medical certificate certifying their fitness for cycling, compliant with Ministerial Decrees of 18/02/1982 and/or 26/04/2013, issued by a Sports Medical Center or a qualified physician.
The medical certificate must expire after the end of the event.
IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE OBTAINING THE CERTIFICATE, SEND AN EMAIL TO CERTIFICATO@VENETOGRAVEL.IT
If the medical certificate is not compliant, it will be rejected and cancelled and the member will have to submit a compliant one.
The medical certificate must be specific to CYCLING. We cannot accept medical certificates issued for other sports such as triathlon, athletics, etc.
Anyone who fails to comply with this requirement will not be considered registered and will not be entitled to a refund of the registration fee.
You must send the certificate by email to certificato@venetogravel.it within 10 working days of the event date.
Participants who have not sent the certificate will not be allowed to depart.

A medical certificate is not required during registration but is optional. If it is not uploaded during registration, it will need to be sent by email as per the instructions above (SEE ABOVE).
Last year, 1,400 people attended Veneto Gravel 2025, an extraordinary number. The event ran smoothly and without any issues.
We don't intend to limit the number of participants, but if the number of registrations were to increase dramatically, we would be forced to close registration early.
Our advice is to register in the first few days to be absolutely sure of being able to participate.
Please note: During the first few hours after registration opens, the site may be slow or unavailable due to the large number of people completing the registration process at the same time. If this is the case, don't worry and wait 15 minutes before accessing the site again.
The route is designed to be ridden on a GRAVEL.
The route is varied and develops on cycle paths, dirt roads, secondary asphalt roads and paths.
Over the years, people have participated in the Veneto Gravel with all types of bikes: cyclocross, mountain bikes, fat bikes, enduro. If you don't have a gravel bike, it's not a problem!
No, you will be free to choose your route during the Veneto Gravel.
We will provide you with all the tracks and you can freely follow whichever one you want.
The Veneto Gravel is a "single-stage" event, meaning there are no pre-established stops. Each participant can stop wherever they want along the route to rest, admire the scenery, meet other participants, or sleep.
The advice is to study the route carefully before leaving to have a general idea of the possible stops you will make.
In the 2026 Edition section you will see the route map where you can already plan your trip.
Veneto Gravel is an unsupported event: you choose where to stop to eat and sleep.
Along the route you will find bars, restaurants, farmhouses, B&Bs and hotels.
You can also bring a tent or sleeping bag for a truly bikepacking experience.
We do not have any type of agreement along the route except those indicated in the program that we will send to those registered.
The best way to find a place to sleep or eat is to use technology (Google Maps is excellent).
The Veneto Gravel checkpoints are points along the route where you can stamp your brevet and chat with other participants.
No, unfortunately there is no possibility of registering for the Veneto Gravel outside the registration deadline.
We receive a lot of emails from people asking to join when registration is already closed.
The registration period lasts several months and that is the only time you can register.
We strongly recommend subscribing to and reading our newsletter regularly; we'll keep you updated on important dates.
The Veneto Gravel is an event open to e-bikes.
